Which brands does Eagle Zone custom-fit?
Callaway, Nike Golf, Ping, Titleist, Mizuno, Taylormade, KZG, MacGregor, Cleveland, and Adams. All brands may be fit for both men and women. For any of the brands we stock, our professional staff will make sure the irons and woods you've chosen are the proper ones for you and your swing.

Why should you be fit for clubs?
If you are playing clubs that are not fit to your swing, you could develop bad swing habits to compensate for poorly fit equipment. The wrong shaft length or flex may cause lack of distance and consistency. If your lie angles are not fit properly, it may cause you to miss your targets too far to the left or right. Playing clubs with the incorrect grip size will affect the way you hold the golf club and could cause errant shots or incorrect grip pressure.

I’m not a good golfer, why should I get custom fitted clubs?
Your level of play has nothing to do with whether or not you should be custom fit. In fact, it is crucial for higher handicap golfers to be custom fit. It gives them a better chance of improving their game instead of developing bad swing habits while they are learning the game with poorly fit equipment. Lower handicap players can compensate for ill-fit equipment better than a lesser-skilled player. In fact, it may be the equipment that is holding you back from reaching your potential. Many players see significant improvement in their game with new equipment or adjustments to their existing clubs.

Aren't custom-fit clubs expensive?
Believe it or not, it does NOT cost more to have clubs that are fit to you. You pay the same amount of money for a custom fit club as you would for a set standard clubs on the floor. The Eagle Zone custom-fits many brands and price ranges of equipment for men and women so that we have something for everyone. Saving money on clubs is never a good reason to play the wrong equipment.

Who should fit you?
Only allow trained professional club-fitters to collect and analyze data about your individual swing and translate the information to proper specifications for your customized clubs. Major manufacturers such as the ones The Eagle Zone sells provide hours of training on each of their specific products and fitting systems.

What happens in a custom fitting session?
A custom fitting session takes 30 minutes to an hour. However, we'll work with you for as long as it takes for you to be satisfied. You'll team with one of our certified fitters to find clubs that feel good to you. You'll test a variety of styles and shaft flexes from different manufacturers, using face and sole tape to indicate your points of impact and swing path.

Why is club-testing better at The Eagle Zone?
Unlike stores where you hit into a net or simulator, testing clubs at our driving range allows you to see the actual ball flight. Ball flight results are extremely important in determining proper club fit. Many times it appears you've hit the ball straight, only to see it hook or fade before landing. You simply cannot see this hitting into a net or cage. The Eagle Zone lives by it’s motto of “See It Fly Before You Buy”!

How do I schedule a fit?
In an effort to provide the proper amount of time and individual attention, we offer club fitting by appointment only. Walk-ins are still welcomed, but will be accommodated on an open slot basis. Call the pro shop at (864) 288-0001 or Toll Free at 1-866-774-0346

What happens after a fitting session?
You'll never be pressured to make a purchase. We keep your personal specifications until you're ready to make a decision. Even after you buy, we keep your specifications on file so you can add or replace a club to your set at any time. If you choose in-stock clubs, you're out practicing on the range right away. Custom-made clubs are usually shipped within five to ten days after order placement to the manufacturer.
